Who is underground?
I’m Jahmadi. Underground Flora is the creative practice where I explore care, design, and the quiet artistry of flora. It began with simple rituals and slowly grew into a way of understanding both myself and the places I shape.
My path wasn’t traditional. I didn’t study floral design in a classroom or train in a studio - I learned by doing. I cared for plants in small apartments, carrying them across my city, experimenting late at night and trusting my eyes, my hands & my instincts. I learned by listening. Not just to people, but to the spaces around me and the plants themselves.
Overtime, that listening grew into a practice shaped by curiosity, texture and a deep respect for living materials.
Plants taught me patience. They taught me rhythm. They taught me that growth is quiet and unseen until one day - it isn’t.
Underground Flora is where those lessons meet design.
This work is personal.
Once you understand that, you know exactly who lives within Underground Flora.
